I have to agree on the fact that New Zealand offers the best scenic of greens. Landscapes expand beyond the reach of my sight, and so as the trees cut short on being historic nor just being an aesthetic. Everything breathes life, from the cows to the sheep. From the mountains to the seas. And from the cheap milk to the delicious meats. Auckland, although far different from the adventurous aura of Queensland, exude serenity. Which is perfect for a first timer like me.

So how hard could it be trying to drive in another foreign country? I convinced myself.

One Tree Hill, Orbit 360, Glow Worm Cave and Hobbiton Shire are amongst my fave places to visit in Auckland. Tourist spots are located far from each other, leaving us no choice but to rent a car. I am used to driving both in the Philippines and in the US โ€“ so how hard could it be trying to drive in another foreign country? I convinced myself. It was no biggie, as opposed to the fact that the rules of the road here are in complete opposite. Right hand driving wasnโ€™t easy, and it definitely feels like learning how to drive for the very first time again. Which is a huge challenge driving for 170 KM straight.

A week long stay here in Auckland is calm and relaxing; making it hard to decipher between farm and the city. Though different, two may be inseparable. And definitely is a break from the chaos of the Metro.
